Après Cinq

Black Penny opened around 2015 and is a collaboration between Bert west and Ed Diaz of Tonique and Erin Rose fame! It’s a lovely local haunt with a good atmosphere and incredible bar tenders. It serves around 90 different craft beers along with its amazing cocktails. Come in for a spell and take in the ambiance of this amazing Rampart Street bar.

Hotel Provincial is one of the few family-owned-and-operated boutique hotels in New Orleans — one of the French Quarter’s best-kept secrets. The Ice House Bar is within their 100 and 200s hotel buildings, which were built by the Dupepe family.  The Ice House Bar is  favorite of locals and visitors alike, it’s a great place to relax after a day exploring the city.

On August 1st explore the mesmerizing Tatlo a new bar in the Quarter! We are so excited for this chance to get a sneak peek during their soft opening. So head on over next Thursday and hang out with us! VCPORA staff and board members will be present to answer questions and update you on the latest goings on in the Quarter

The first stop on the series will be Palm and Pine, located at 308 N Rampart St. This small but mighty gem has withstood the Hard Rock collapse and the pandemic and continues to delight locals and visitors alike with its unique take on regional fare supplied by local vendors and farmers. Palm and Pine showcases food and drink from “Louisiana, the south, and south of that (the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America).” At the Pine Bar, you will find cocktails created around agave and cane spirits. We’ll grab some nibbles to share, and you grab a neighbor and come down and support our local businesses!
